Grant has been in ministry for 17 years starting with college leading Aggies for Christ. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Business Marketing degree and then went to Abilene Christian University for his Masters in Christian Ministry with a focus on domestic missions. He has been a member at First Colony since 1989 and on staff full-time since 2010.

Grant grew up at First Colony where he  learned to love and serve this community. Today he is the Outreach Minister. His passion for missions began on his first church planting mission trip to Russia when I was 17. Since that trip he says, "life has never been the same".  He has been blessed to travel to 27 countries and do missions all around the world.

In his spare time Grant loves to hunt, fish, play and watch all ball sports but especially baseball (now it’s with James playing Little League), water sports especially wake boarding & surfing, traveling (been to 32 states), and singing & dancing with his girls.

He has been married to his beautiful bride since 2007 and the Lord has blessed them with 4 wonderful children Eden (9), James (7), Isabel (5), Abigail (3) and their Golden Retriever ‘Hunter’ (as he is also one of the kids).
